BackgroundYanley Farm is owned and run by Will and Liz Jones, supported by their daughter Rosie and son Ben. A farming and horse background has given Will a wealth of knowledge and experience. Betty Richards, Will's grandmother, was the founder of the famous Cui Stud in Wales. It is are own personal experience of dealing and riding horses that stimulated the idea of creating our own DIY Livery Stables MissionOur aim is simply to ensure that you and your horse enjoy the best livery experience in the area HowWe believe that, where possible, your horse should be in the company of other horses as they are far happier in a group environment forming bonds and creating friendships. As such we offer both stabling and field arrangements. Hedgerows divide the farm into fields that will accommodate groups of betweeen four and six horses, allowing them to roam freely in a safe and natural environment. All paddocks have mains supplied water troughs. Our newly installed stables have water, electric lighting, car parking, secure tack room and are fenced off from the adjoining paddock with a post and rail fence. Individual space can be allocated for horses prone to laminitis or illness. The fields are rotated, harrowed and rolled on a regular basis. During the winter months sheep from the Welsh Hills join the farm and a mixed grazing system is put in place.
